What We Do

Alterations for every part of the suit.

From a single stitch to a full restyle, each piece is handled on its own — jacket, trouser, and vest work, done separately or together.

Jacket Fitting

Shoulder, chest, and waist suppression to bring a boxy or loose jacket back into shape.

Sleeve Adjustment

Length and width correction at the cuff, with working buttonholes reset where needed.

Trouser Hemming

Plain or cuffed hems, set to your preferred break, finished by hand for a clean fall.

Waist & Seat

Taking in or letting out the waistband and seat for trousers that sit right, not just close.

Lapel & Collar Work

Re-shaping or repairing lapels and collars that have lost their roll or gone slack.

Every suit is different — these are our standard starting rates. A final quote is confirmed at your fitting.

Shortening or lengthening at the cuff, button stance preserved.

Shoulder adjustment
Re-setting the shoulder seam for a cleaner line across the back.

Prices reflect typical work on a single garment and vary with fabric, construction, and the extent of the change. Complex or tailored fabrics (silk, linen, heavily structured jackets) may fall outside these ranges — we'll always confirm the final price before any work begins.

Walk in or book an appointment with the suit you'd like altered.

Mark & pin

We fit the garment on you, marking and pinning each change directly.

iii.

Alter

Work is done by hand on the bench, seam by seam, to the marked fit.

iv.

Final fitting

Try it on, and we adjust anything that needs a final touch before you take it home.
